Start with the grass, then the plan
Mowing is part of lawn care / mowing, YardU’s published core lawn maintenance package. It works alongside edging, detail trimming, and blowing off finished surfaces. This guide explains that component; it does not promise a separate mowing-only booking.
When discussing an estimate, describe your grass type if known, the lawn’s current condition, and whether the request is for an initial visit or ongoing care. Ask the team to confirm the appropriate mowing scope and frequency for the property.
What to share about the lawn
- Approximate lawn area and the sections to include.
- Current growth, wet or difficult areas, and access constraints.
- Fenced spaces, gates, pets, and obstacles to discuss.
- Any changes to the property since its last regular maintenance.
Which mowing calendar fits my grass?
NC State Extension’s grass-specific maintenance calendars distinguish tall fescue, bermudagrass, zoysiagrass, and other grasses. The calendars cover more than the work in YardU’s package. They are useful context for a conversation, not a promise that every listed task is offered.
Does the package include treatment or renovation?
The core package is routine lawn care. YardU also offers aeration and overseeding as a separate service; discuss its scope and timing directly with the team. Fertilization, pest treatment, and irrigation services are not confirmed offerings. Describe any separate need and confirm what is available before booking.
